Belly Dancing at Dance Zone Belly Dancing provides good cardio-vascular workout and helps increase  both flexibility and strength, focusing on the torso or "core muscles",  although it also builds leg strength. This practice offers mental health  benefits. Many woman undergo a personal transformation when they begin belly  dancing. Because you learn to have independent control over your own  body. You also learn to have more control in your life. Lessons are  suitable for all ages. No dance experience needed. All lessons begin with  warm-up and conclude with a cool down. Dancing Divinity is affiliated to the Belly Dance Associations of South  Africa (DBASA) and is a member of the International Dance Council  (CID) and the Middle Eastern Culture and Dance Associations (MEDCA).   Come dressed in comfortable pants or a long gypsy skirt that allows  movement. You can start of dancing barefoot or in socks and buy the  belly dance t-bar shoes once you are sure you want to continue with  lessons. You can also purchase a shimmy belt/hip scarf with coins on  which you will tie around your hips to provide emphasis to your hip  movements. You are welcome to attend a free trial lessons.
